To commemorate the occasion of the annual sports day, Richmondd Global School organized ENERGIA-2012 on 31st January 2012 at CHHATARSAL Stadium, New Delhi. The event was graced by Mahabali Satpal Ji who was welcomed by CEO. Mr. Rishabh Gupta, and Principal Mrs. Kiran Sehajpal.

Our honorable guest declared the meet open after the lighting of the lamp and seeking the blessings of the Almighty.
The sports day commenced with the March Past, wherein the diligent marching was performed by Mahatma Gandhi House, Nelson Mandela House, Mother Teresa House and Bill Gates House. The taekwondo team and the school band was a perfect amalgamation of synchrony and co-ordination. Relay races were the hallmark of the event which were thereafter followed by various items performed by the primary and pre-primary toddlers. It included hoopla, Charlie- chaplin, bhangra, pom-pom and the list goes on and on.

The kids also participated in various theme based races such as frog race, octopus race, three legged race and so on.

The euphoric celebrations of the sports day highlighted gymnastics including the ballet dance and pyramid formation by our talented and dexterous students. Consequently, the event was concluded by the jubilant performance during the grand finale which showcased various colorful and vibrant formations including lotus, peacock, water, swan and flamingo.
The entire ambience echoed with the huge applause which infused more zeal and vibrance in the show. Mr. Rishabh Gupta staunchly believes that such event is an effort to recognize and bring forth the creative talent of youth of India and enable them to identify the most appropriate career.

The school’s principal Mrs. Kiran Sehajpal’s vision to find ways to make the educational systems more humane, equitable and relevant to the changing world scenario, using sports fervour to link schools and youth globally found its glimpse in “ENERGIA 2012”.
