The well-coordinated orchestra team with its melodious rhythms was appreciated a lot by the Chief Guest, Prof.(Dr.) Kiran Walia, who acknowledged the School for providing its students an extensive platform in co-curricular activities, being especially fascinated by the creativity galore displayed at the 'Art Exhibition'.
She acclaimed the RGS students with its unique ‘Gem of the Year' Award for their excellence not just in academics but also for bringing laurels in various co-curricular activities, and commended its staff members for their exceptional contribution for nurturing the students.

Prof.(Dr.) Kiran Walia was overwhelmed by the sensitive theme of 'Donate Eyes' that was blended very gracefully with a majestic 'Shadow Dance' depicting the beauty in creation of the Seven Wonders of the World through varied formations.
Through the celebration of its cultural bonanza, Richmondd Global School, not only showcased the talents of its students, but also by presenting a unique theme of 'Donate Eyes to save', the school aimed to sensitize all generations about the significance and value of eye donation.

This was brought forth through a ballet 'Netra Daan', scripted by Mr.Shanti Bhushan, famous playwright from Mumbai. The play touched one and all in the audience with its sensitive cause, showing a girl losing her eye-sight due to Diwali crackers and how it feels to a person who cannot see anything in the world around. It also generated awareness towards the harmful effects of crackers and the myths and superstitions amongst people related to eye-donation.  The ballet stirred up everyone's heart to think how eye donation could light up someone's life, as 'sight is the best gift one can give', to such an extent that a remarkable contribution was seen with people taking pledge to donate eyes at the Venu Eye Foundation co-ordination desk at the venue.

H.E. Jorge Roza De Oleveira, Ambassador of Portugal, appreciated the invigorating dance performances by all the students from classes Nursery to XII integrating the theme ‘Donate eyes’ taking everyone on a journey to view the beauty of  the 'Seven Wonders of the World'  through enthralling foot-tapping dances like Salsa, Arabian, Chinese, Spanish, Acrobatics, Tap-Dance, Sufi-Dance and many more. He lauded the enthusiasm and vigour with which all the students performed, and the energy in the air gathered constant appreciation and applause by one and all in the audience.

Mr.Sant Lal Aggarwal , Vice Chairperson RGS, felicitated the teachers who had been a part of  Richmondd since its inception for their dedication and hard-work towards the institution.
The entire event was a marvelous show and got an incredible response from all the parents and guests present there.
