Delhi Nursery Admission Timeline

According to the timelines announced by the DoE, the admission forms will be available from 15th December onwards at recognized private schoolsin Delhi and the last date for form submission is 7th January 2022. Necessary documents need to be uploaded latest by 21st January 2022. Post the submission and documents upload, it is simply a waiting period for the accepted list of students. From 4th February 2022, the first list and second list of the secured admissions will be released. Once your child gets into the list, go ahead with the admission procedure in the preferred school to begin the nursery schooling phase.

Nursery Admission Age limit in Delhi

The age limit for nursery admissions would be mentioned in the admission information section on the notice board and also on the admission form. Generally speaking, for a pre-schooler, the minimum age for nursery admission is three years and the upper limit is four years.

Documents required in Nursery Admission in Delhi

Below are someessential documents required to the Nursery admissions in Delhi.

• The child’s birth certificate issued by the municipal corporation, as proof of age
• A recent passport size photograph of the child, mother and father or guardian, not taken more than 3 months ago, with a white background.
• Family photograph, with child and parents or child and guardian, not taken more than 3 months ago.
• Proof of address documents like Aadhar Card or ration card (with child’s name mentioned), voter ID or passport copy of either one of the parents/guardians, utility bills (phone bill, electricity bill, water bill etc.).
• Child’s medical fitness certificate issued by a certified and registered medical practitioner or even your child’s paediatrician, that includes the information about the blood group, vaccinations done and allergies, if any.
